How to find us
Arrival
Mountaincamp Pfenningberg sits 7 minutes from the A7 Dornach exit, above Steyregg on the edge of the Pfenningberg forest. We recommend approaching from the north — short, well-signposted, no narrow town centres.
Address
Mountaincamp PfenningbergLachstatt 44221 SteyreggAustriaImportant arrival notes
Last 200 m · 12 % gradient
The final 200 metres up to the entrance follow a short stretch with a ~12 % gradient. When wet, this can be demanding for caravan combinations. We recommend arriving in dry conditions, engaging a low gear, and using a mover where appropriate.
Sat-nav note: arriving from south or east
When arriving from the south or east, please drive through the town centre of Steyregg. Do not follow GPS suggestions across the narrow farm tracks east of the hill — they are not suitable for larger motorhomes or caravan combinations.
Maximum vehicle length: 9 m
Includes the wheelbase span on caravan combinations. Manoeuvring on site is possible, but tight when both pitches are occupied. For special cases, please email info@mountaincamp.at in advance.

Parking, vehicle requirements & manoeuvring
Both pitches (60 m² concrete) are generously sized. Parking is straightforward for a motorhome or car; with a caravan combination it takes a bit more care. The tow car of a caravan combination is parked next to the caravan on the same pitch. Day visitors cannot be accommodated.
